Throughout the history the ones with the most success have actually been those who pursued their goals and entrepreneur ideas while disregarding other people's opinions,  disrespect and even persecution.

I discovered that the easiest way to understand the essence of life and appreciate freedom is by being and thinking outside the box, meaning that you are not part of a system that dictates you what to do. This condition allows for being closer to our true call, inherited at birth. So why aren't most people there if it's so good? 

The answer is that they are afraid. Afraid of being judged and feeling losers due to not doing what others do. The thing is that many would like to be number one in some area and thereby get the "great" ultimate recognization of the world due to excelling at what is defined as the "right" purpose and goal in life: One that has only one number 1 and the rest being losers, watching the winner with admiration from the corner. 

However this exact way of thinking is what makes people slaves and not free. It's the mentality of pleasing others, or rather some illusory image of society, in order to get recognized and feel accomplished. 

It is the contrary of doing what one really wants, likes and believes in. The fact is that most societies are constructed that way: Around the illusion that we have to grow up copying society and that this will grant us recognition and appraisal by others. 

It seems a big paradox that so many strive to get appreciated by others who don't know what is essential and important in life either. It resembles allowing a hungry dog watch over the meat on which your life depends. 

So imagine that one finally achieves that goal which wasn't decided with a mindset based on basic core values such as love and faith that lead to happiness. It might seem that everybody admires one. But it only seems like that. 

The fact is that it is simply envy since they'd like to be in that place themselves and really don't care about you having achieved that goal. Therefore it becomes an empty goal, based on what one thinks that others will appreciate one for and not based on what one deeply thinks is good, meaningful and will bring true happiness. 

The truth is that few, if any, get truelly happy that way. Why? Simply because society doesn't reflect the truth. It reflects the decisions of people with power now and in the past. Ask yourself if these people know the truth and if they do, then why did they make society go in that direction? 

Another situation is that often the entrepreneur ideas of geniuses or scientists are being used for bad purposes by society. This neither leads to happiness.

Another reason why people abstain from freedom and taking control of their life is that they believe in the myth saying that freedom is hard work and that the responsibility coming with freedom is a hard burden. This way of thinking also has kept many creative people from becoming Internet entrepreneurs, the sad result being a terrible waste of skills and talent, sacrificed on the altar of always fighting for a pay check, while fearing to get sacked. 

Said in few words: By abstaining from taking the responsibility to benefit from one's freedom, one actually ends up a victim of circumstances over which one has got absolutely no control. Unfortunately this often leads to complaints over the tough situation instead of leading to another initiative based on freedom and faith.

By acting in a free way or at least thinking freely and purpose oriented (if constraining conditions prevail), one will gain power and the momentum to achieve something valuable. 

One can easily come up with many examples of how basing important life decisions on superficial views of society can have bad results.

An easy example I like using, is that of a man who deeply wants love. Buying a fancy sportscar to attract women will most likely attract women in pursuit of money, not women in search of a loving heart. It doesn't mean that having a sportscar isn't a nice thing. It means that its purchase shouldn't be for the sake of - nor the foundation of something as deep as love. Anyway, equal matters attract each other. Said in other words: People attract people corresponding to the state of their development.

Another example is the achievement of a title just for the sake of the title and the prestige that might follow.
